Sorry all, I know I’ve been MIA this last week BUUUUT it was time well spent with friends and family for the holiday We had a great week(ish) and it was so much fun! I thought I’d let you all know what I did while I was gone from the social media world.

Friday: We went to Sterling and spent time with my in laws a bit and both telecommuted from there. After work was done we hung out with family and Chris’ best friend Bob and his wife Megan and went to dinner. After dinner we decided to go to the Bull Run Festival of Lights  I had never gone before and we had a ton of fun listening to Christmas music in the car while going through the light display. It was great and was about a 20 min car ride through the park..we all wondered how everything was plugged in?

Saturday: On Saturday we did some last minute Christmas shopping and errands and then later got together with our friends again and went to the American History Museum and then went to Sushi and then out for a drink.

Sunday: We were back in Sterling on Sunday to get together with Bob, Megan, and the Edmonds with my in laws  to exchange gifts and had some snacks. Then we headed back to Arlington to have dinner with more friends.

Monday: On Monday we went back to Sterling during the day and helped set up for Christmas Day and did some pre-cooking. I opened my present from Chris with him before we headed over, he got me lip smackers (where he thought of this I have no clue!) in my stocking (#throwback) and I got a Fitbit One (which has been awesome so far!) . I got him a gift card for his Play Station Vita and a reading pillow; that night after dinner we opened presents from with my in laws. Monday was also my Mom’s birthday and we got to skype with her which is awesome because it was like were there with her, we haven’t before (I don’t know why not) but we will definitely do it again

Tuesday: On Christmas we finished setting up and then Chris and I headed over to my Dad’s to exchange gifts with him before everyone got together. We went back, got changed and everyone came over again for Christmas. We had an awesome dinner with appetizers, and yummy dessert! Then did secret santa and white elephant. Chris and I got great gifts and we are both very thankful!

Wednesday: This morning we had brunch with the family with some of the family and helped clean up a bit. Now we are back at home enjoying the end of our last day off. We had an amazing first (married) Christmas together, and I can’t wait for many more!

There is still more holiday to celebrate, tomorrow we are seeing more friends who lives in Florida for dinner and of course there is New Years next week. Hope you all had a happy holiday!!
