For new years I wanted to try to shorten my 101 in 1001 goal list for what I want to attain this year. I am being realistic in these goals and taking out the goals that will take time, or I can’t imagine fulfilling this year. I am going to strive to complete this list in 2013, but if for some reason I can’t I will work on it in the rest of whats left of the 1001 days. And who knows maybe I will even get to some of the 101 list that isn’t on the shortened list.
So here it is my 2013 goals, my 101 list shortened to 40! I know a lot right? But I think I could do most, if not all of them!
2013 Goals:
Running/Workouts:
1) Run a sub 2:30 half marathon
3) Run a sub 1:00 10k
4) Run a sub 30 min 5k
9) Run at least 60 miles a month for 6 months straight-tracked on daily mile
12) Use the foam roller 5 days a week for 2 months straight
13) Exercise 6 days a week for 2 months straight
14) Have the exercises above occur only in the morning so that I can get used to a morning workout schedule
Travel:
17) Travel to Europe
26) Speak in a foreign language without a guide book and have the locals understand you
For the Home:
30) Buy our own Home
32) Host our first Christmas
35) Purge and clean our closet
37) Get a real christmas tree
39) Create and Finish a wedding album for us
Health:
42) Reach my goal modest goal weight-135
44) Lower my Cholesterol to a healthy number
47) Drink no soda for 6 months straight
48) Eat homemade meals for dinner 6 days a week for a month straight
49) Log in to myfitnesspal everyday for 6 months
50) Floss every day for 2 months
51) Keep up being flexitarian for a year only eating meat 2x or less a week
52) Drink at least 72 oz of water per day for 2 months-track with myfitnesspal
53) Find out my blood type
54) Don’t drink coffee for 2 weeks straight
Work:
56) Be recognized for a work accomplishment
57) Get a professional certification
Blog:
60) Reach 50 subscribers
64) Get a logo for the blog and sell it on a t-shirt
66) Post at least 3 days a week for 3 months
69) Create a Facebook site for the blog
74) Get and review two items on my blog, and hopefully more
Financial:
77) Save more than our monthly goal for at least 6 months
Adventure:
79) Rent capital bike share and bike across the Potomac to ride around the mall
83) Go on a legit wine tour
For Me/Self Improvement:
85) Buy someone lunch/dinner when they would never expect it
86) Read at least 2 books a month for a year (1 for book club plus another)
89) Actually complete a photo a day challenge for a month
95) Don’t curse for a week straight
97) Fill someone’s parking meter for them
100) Do a photo a month challenge to see the changes in myself over the year
