This weekend was the end of one challenge, and today the beginning of another, what perfect timing! When the Holiday Bootie Buster started back on November 19th I was super pumped. I was already running with my running group, so this was great extra motivation for working out on the off days. The Facebook and Instagram posts were my favorite, having those there to post about my workouts really kept me on my game and it helped me make sure that I did my workouts, it was the accountability I needed, and the reason why I loved this challenge so so much! Throughout the first month of the challenge I was super motivated and exercised at least 5 days a week. But then the holidays came around…which is kind of ironic given the point of the challenge is to keep you motivated during the holidays..so what happened?
I think it was a combination of things..laziness and being busy. Its not even that I stopped working out (even though I was doing less than normal) but I just didn’t want to even open my laptop and track everything on the google spreadsheet we had. I wasn’t even at social media at that point. Then I got back from my mini vacation and I didn’t want to fill it out again. I was not motivated again..I think I felt bad for skipping out the week before. BUT I did redeem myself and looked back at myfitnesspal and the daily mile to see what I did and filled out the rest of the sheet to bring me up to date. I didn’t do as much as others, but that’s okay, the point is that I was active during these holiday months, and I’m proud of that
I’m so proud of everyone that completed it and can’t wait for next year! If you want something to keep you motivated during the holiday season of Thanksgiving and New Years, I strongly recommend this!

It was kind of the same way for me. Even though I was staying active I didn’t keep track of my points like I did the first 4 weeks. I loved HBBC though and would totally join again this year. The Instagram and FB page was my favorite part of the challenge, it was cool to see eachothers posts and pictures.
