Remember my post on becoming a Flexitarian? Well after eating more and more vegetarian meals I’ve realized.. I don’t need to eat meat to be satisfied and “Hey, maybe I can be vegetarian?”. These last couple of weeks doing this has really been a journey into learning more about what works, along with learning what my tastes are. I think the craving to eat meat will come soon and I’ll have it again one day (because that is what flexitarianism is all about) but it hasn’t yet so I’m going with it.
With the start of a New Year (first Monday), Best Body Bootcamp and my 10 week half marathon training schedule starting today, I’ve decided that I want to track not only how many vegetarian meals I’ve eaten (which can be found in the challenges section) but my journey too. After 1 week of straight vegetarian eating since January 1st, I want to share my experiences with everyone through pictures and thoughts. Of course my blog will still include all my Life happenings, my love happenings, and my continued pursuit of running, but here is adding something new. Throughout this year, follow my journey from a chicken, meat, and sushi loving girl to a vegetarian in training.
