#BestBodyBootcamp Week 4

I can’t believe it has been a month already of bestbodybootcamp! We are supposed to take our fitness test now to see our improvements, but after my 8 miles today I’m going to wait until tomorrow to complete it. I’ll tweet my results. What I can tell you is that although not many pounds were lost, I’ve lost 3 inches around my stomach!

As I talked about a little yesterday in my post this week was blah, with the exception of today! But more on that later. So my week is kind of bare bones. I didn’t get any weight training in either which was bad, but next week is a fresh start!

Monday: Ran 3 miles on the treadmill due to ice outside blah, I’m getting sick of these treadmill runs and my legs hate it..I hope the weather changes soon.

Tuesday: I had a rest day after an exhausting day at work, and not waking up early for my workout

Wednesday: We started our 5 miles (my garmin went out and didn’t reflect the 5) mid week “long runs” this week so we were up bright and early to get to Liz’s by 5:45am. I actually felt good during the run, but NOT after it my knees and legs hurt pretty badly for a couple days.

Thursday and Friday: Since I was hurting pretty badly I didn’t run on Thursday or Friday and had a rest day. I especially was worried about my legs for the Saturday run.

Saturday:  Now today was a good day! It was actually the longest run since RNRUSA last March (sad I know). But I was actually pretty proud of how well I did. My legs hurt a little at the end but I felt pretty good the whole run. I actually ended up with a bloody toe, that I still don’t know why I had. There was no cut or broken toenail, I just randomly noticed blood on my shoe (yes it bled all the way through to my shoe!). It didn’t even hurt! I foam rolled like crazy and thankfully found my compression socks (that I thought I had lost) which I’m enjoying right now, and plan on using tomorrow…can I say they feel yum?!

Next week I’ll get back on track for sure. I needed to take a bit of a break to rest my body, but back to it starting Monday. After today’s great run I’m excited to refresh and get back into it!
